Through Quilted Treasures, I facilitate a group of dedicated quilters who meet regularly at my shop to make “Quilts of Valor”-quilts of comfort given to soldiers who are recovering at Walter Reed Hospital. I am honored to donate my classroom, batting, backing and shipping funds to such a worthy cause, and I sing praises to the generous women who created these gifts of love.
