Whether you are a beginner or an experienced quilter, QT has a class just right for you. We have a spacious and well lit classroom, and great teachers who will share their knowledge with you. Check out our samples displayed around the classroom and select your next project.
Classes offered January-April 2009
Perfect for beginners or quilters with just a little experience, our Quilt Basics class covers many common methods used in quilting. Included in this seven part class is: rotary cutting, accurate machine piecing, strip piecing, triangle unit methods, paper piecing, log cabin piecing, border application, layering, machine quilting and binding.
We offer this 7 week class quarterly, and also offer follow-up classes to build on skills you have learned in Quilt Basics. The most common response from quilters completing this class is that they received superior instruction, had fun, and that they can approach their next quilt project with confidence.
Please view our examples of the beginner project "Fields of Minnesota" designed by instructor Julie Peterson, to see what you can create. We would love to share the joy of creativity with you!
